Sarbanes Grills Secretary Perry about Use of Taxpayer-Funded Private Jets [Video]

WASHINGTON, D.C. – During a House Energy Subcommittee hearing today, Congressman John Sarbanes (D-Md.) questioned U.S. Secretary of Energy Rick Perry about reports that he used taxpayer dollars to pay for his travel on private jets.
Congressman Sarbanes’ line of questioning comes amid the release of a new special report from the Democracy Reform Task Force, which is chaired by Congressman Sarbanes. The report, “Trump’s High-Flying Cabinet,” catalogues the inappropriate use of taxpayer-funded private jets by Trump Administration cabinet officials – including Secretary Perry.
