WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman John Sarbanes (D-Md.) today joined the Maryland Congressional Delegation in announcing $1,201,379 from the American Rescue Plan to support fire and emergency rescue departments across Maryland.

“Maryland’s fire and rescue teams risk their lives every single day to protect our communities – especially during the COVID-19 pandemic,” the lawmakers said. “This new round of federal funding will provide our first responders with the supplies and equipment they need to keep us safe. We will always work hard to secure federal resources for our fire and rescue departments.”
