Sarbanes Statement on the Passing of Maryland House Speaker Busch

TOWSON, MD – Congressman John Sarbanes (D-Md.) released the following statement today on the passing of Maryland House Speaker Michael E. Busch:

"Maryland has lost one of its finest citizens – a thoughtful and trusted public servant who, for decades, worked to make life better for Maryland families. I join Marylanders from every corner of the state in sending heartfelt condolences to Speaker Busch's family and friends. He was a wonderful and decent man who will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and working with him over these many years."
